Hello!
I hope the Holiday’s were good to everyone. We are happy to announce that we are releasing a solo album by JT Woodruff. For those who don’t know, JT is the singer of the band Hawthorne Heights. His album is available in hand-stamped limited edition CDS as well as digital download now at www.fdrshop.com. Later this month the album will be available at all major digital outlets. We have 3 different packages to chose from which you can see by clicking the image below.

In the coming months, we will also be release the brand new album by The Hotshot Freight Train titled “Get Low.” More news to come on that soon.
I know we were pretty quiet in 2011, but 2012 is going to be much busier. We are excited about all that is to come!
Thanks!
Matthew Jenkins

I posted up the documentary of my band The Apprentice on Vimeo last week. This was done by the Deep Studios last year and chronicles the making of our latest album “Oh the Slavery Comfort Brings.” It is about 17 minutes long, so if you get a chance, take a look at it. You can order the album and other merchandise at www.fdrshop.com

For the past few years, my wife and I have been involved with a program called Operation Christmas Child. This program sends shoeboxes overseas to children who otherwise would not get anything for Christmas. These boxes are packed by individuals all over the US with basic hygiene items such as soap, toothpaste, etc as well as small toys, candy, and school supplies. We are trying to make as many boxes as well can this year and we could use your help.
From now through November 14, any purchase of music (CD, Digital, and even the Grab Bag Deal) from the Future Destination Shop will go to help with this project. 100% of the purchase price will be donated to buy supplies for the boxes.
If anyone has any questions or would like to donate money directly, e-mail me at matt@fdrecords.com
This is a great way to help out those who are often forgotten.
Thank you in advance,
Matthew and Erin Jenkins

Hello!
I’ve currently been on the road working for Hawthorne Heights for the last two months. I am currently siting in Idaho before a show. Thanks to all the people who have downloaded the sampler card that has been given out at shows. I hope you have liked some of the music.
In other news, we have a brand new hoodie/t-shirt up in the store for preorder. It would really help me out if you would preorder so that we can get appropriate sizes since it is too expensive to order a lot of extras. Click the images below to order.

Thanks!

I can’t believe the summer is already here! Sorry for the lack of updates. First off I would like to congratulate Josh Chambers of The Hotshot Freight Train on his marriage last weekend. Josh Hutson of the band will also be getting married this weekend. Please go over to their facebook page and congratulate them. In honor of this occasion, for a limited time you can get both of their full-length albums for $9.99 with free US shipping by clicking the banner below.

In other news, The Apprentice have a few dates this summer as well as hopefully a tour this fall. We are selling all 5 of their albums in a special deal for just $19.99. Some of the albums are about to go out of print physically (they will still be sold digitally), so be sure to order today if you want to pick up the CDs.

We still have a handful of shirts in limited sizes for Future Destination that we are trying to clear out. All Future Destination Records shirts are just $6.99 with free shipping. Click the shirt below to see the selection.

We have some artist that will be recording new albums this year. Both Cannonhands and The Hotshot Freight Train have new material and should both be in the studio this year for new full-length albums.
Thanks for the support and be sure to check back here for updates. Be sure to “Like” us on Facebook

Now through March 30 we will be offering a sampler of songs from each The Story Changes release called “Running Start Collection” It will only be available for a few days, so be sure to download it and tell your friends to do the same.

We are making way for new Future Destination Records shirts, but we really need to clear out all we have left. All Future Destination Records label shirts are $6.99 with free shipping in the US until we sell out. We only have limited sizes in designs, so order now to make sure you get it. We have around 20 shirts total between all of our designs.

The Metro Pulse paper in Knoxville is creating a “Best Of” list. If you have a second vist http://www.metropulse.com/ and vote The Hotshot Freight Train as the best of Knoxville.
We may be shooting a video (or 2) for Rookie of the Year this coming weekend. More info to come and we may be calling on some extras.
The Apprentice will be going on tour April 15-23. This tour will also be the last ride of my almost 6 month beard. Does anyone have any suggestions on what I should shave it into before I am clean-faced for the summer?
Look for more updates next week.

Hello Everyone,
I hope everyone is thawing out some from winter. First off, I am going to tell you a little bit about what I have been up to. For the past 5-6 weeks, I have been going down by the river every Saturday in my hometown of Huntington, WV. Each week people show up and distribute food, clothing, and toiletries to the homeless. There is no official organization to this, but on average I would say over 100 people show up to get a hot meal. Some of my friends and I have been making bags of snacks to give out with chips, granola bars, etc in them so that the people can have something to eat during the week. I am sure you can imagine, but doing this each week gets expensive and even last week we ran out of bags before everyone got one. From now until 3/13, I will be donating all sales from our Grab Bag Deal to help buy snacks for the homeless. Our Grab Bag Deal is 10 random cds from our entire collection for only $10 with free shipping. Click the image below to order one and help out those in need. Please spread the word about this if possible.

Also, if you would simply like to donate some money to this, just send a paypal payment to matt@fdrecords.com and put in the message something about donation to the homeless.
In other news, Eric from The Apprentice will be going on a solo house tour with Bradley Hawathay March 19-26. Click the poster below for more information.

The Story Changes are clearing out their current line of merchandise. All their current designs will not be reprinted.
Click the image below to get some before they are gone forever.

Signing Off!

The Hotshot Freight Train are in the Sound Off finals. Be sure to check out their dates and other news at their Facebook page.
I am not sure how many of you know this, but I also run a button company where I make 1 and 1.5 inch buttons for bands, churches, etc. You can check us out at our website at www.thinktwicebuttons.com or on Facebook If you know anyone that needs buttons, send them my way!
