Cannonhands is a collective of musicians from Evansville, Indiana that is centered around the creations of singer/songwriter Billy Perkins (Moonlight Heist). The eclectic mix of indie rock, Americana, and dream-like soundscapes seeks to leave a personal impression on every listener with meaningful lyrics and memorable hooks. Perkins & co. seek to be personal with every note and riff while at the same time leaning into an arena rock sing-a-long that leaves you wanting more.

While their influences include Johnny Cash, Elvis Costello, and The Clash, Cannonhands seeks to bring a sincere voice to the table of today’s songwriting. The lyrical themes include God, the Mid-West, and undying loyalty. With the punk rock drive and jazz tinged percussion of Jeremy Edmondson (The Redemption Song, Drag The Stick) always backing him, Cannonhands is sure to be a good time every time!
