March Update

Tuesday, March 8th, 2011

Hello Everyone,
I hope everyone is thawing out some from winter. First off, I am going to tell you a little bit about what I have been up to. For the past 5-6 weeks, I have been going down by the river every Saturday in my hometown of Huntington, WV. Each week people show up and distribute food, clothing, and toiletries to the homeless. There is no official organization to this, but on average I would say over 100 people show up to get a hot meal. Some of my friends and I have been making bags of snacks to give out with chips, granola bars, etc in them so that the people can have something to eat during the week. I am sure you can imagine, but doing this each week gets expensive and even last week we ran out of bags before everyone got one. From now until 3/13, I will be donating all sales from our Grab Bag Deal to help buy snacks for the homeless. Our Grab Bag Deal is 10 random cds from our entire collection for only $10 with free shipping. Click the image below to order one and help out those in need. Please spread the word about this if possible.

Also, if you would simply like to donate some money to this, just send a paypal payment to matt@fdrecords.com and put in the message something about donation to the homeless.

In other news, Eric from The Apprentice will be going on a solo house tour with Bradley Hawathay March 19-26. Click the poster below for more information.

The Story Changes are clearing out their current line of merchandise. All their current designs will not be reprinted.
Click the image below to get some before they are gone forever.

Is It Spring Yet?

Thursday, February 3rd, 2011

It isn’t spring yet, but I wish! Sorry for the lack of updates. I was really busy preparing for the 2 Apprentice CD Release shows. Both of the shows went very well and it was great to see so many friends come out and support us.
Speaking of which, we took our extra preorder shirts and DVDs to our release shows. This has only left us with a few DVDs and shirts. If you want one of the preorder deals that include those, please order today by clicking here.

The Story Changes will be going on tour in February with PM Today (Rise Records) starting the middle of February. Be sure to check out their official website at www.thestorychanges.com for all the tour dates.

Also, check out a new interview with The Story Changes via Property of Zack by clicking the image below.

The Hotshot Freight Train are in the Sound Off finals. Be sure to check out their dates and other news at their Facebook page.

I am not sure how many of you know this, but I also run a button company where I make 1 and 1.5 inch buttons for bands, churches, etc. You can check us out at our website at www.thinktwicebuttons.com or on Facebook If you know anyone that needs buttons, send them my way!

We are running low on a lot of our t-shirts and we would really like to clear them out to make room for new spring designs. Check out all the great deals over at www.fdrshop.com

P.S. There are talks of a Future Destination Records showcase this spring/summer in WV. Hopefully more details to come!
